What does the Texels Experience involve?

We offer a Texels Experience in English by request only for groups of 10 people. Please contact proeflokaal@texels.nl for inquiries and availability. You are more than welcome to visit the shop or enjoy a glas of beer without reservation!

We welcome you 5 minutes before the reservation begins at the bar in the Proeflokaal (Tasting Room) of the Texel Brewery. There, we will check you in and provide you with the tickets.

Our Bierelaar (Beer Expert) takes you through a thirst-quenching story about Texelse Beer Brewery including a Tasting. Our Bierelaars live up to their name: true Texelaars who know everything about Texels beer (bier in Dutch). So feel free to ask them anything you want to know about our beer! 

You’ll begin in the courtyard of our historic building and learn all about the history of Texel and the brewery. Next, you'll get a unique behind-the-scenes look in the brewhouse, discover the ingredients, feel the passion for beer, and experience the Texels film.

At the Texels Beer Museum, you’ll dive deeper into our range of beers, uncover the ‘Texels Secret’, and admire our trophy cabinet.

Along the way, you'll taste two different Texels beers. After the tour, enjoy one final specialty beer in the Tasting Room, and find a unique Texels souvenir in the shop as a lasting memory.
