What does the Texels Experience involve?

We offer a Texels Experience in English by request only for groups of 10 people. Please contact proeflokaal@texels.nl for inquiries and availability. You are more than welcome to visit the shop or enjoy a glas of beer without reservation!

We welcome you 15 minutes before the reservation begins at the bar in the Proeflokaal (Tasting Room) of the Texel Brewery. There, we will check you in and provide you with the tickets.

Our Bierelaar (Beer Expert) takes you through a thirst-quenching story about Texelse Beer Brewery including a Tasting. You'll sit in the ExperienceGlop. A Glop is a narrow alley or street in Texels dialect and that description fits perfectly with our ExperienceGlop.

While enjoying 3 different Texels Specialty Beers, you'll get explanations about the history, ingredients, and brewing process. That and more fun facts await you during our Texels Experience. Our Bierelaars live up to their name: true Texelaars who know everything about Texels beer (bier in Dutch). So feel free to ask them anything you want to know about our beer! You'll also get an original Texels souvenir as a gift to take home.

English Experience

For groups of around 10 people, you can book an English Texels Experience depending on availability. Please contact proeflokaal@texels.nl for details and availability. When booking online, make sure to select a time that indicates (ENG) for an English Experience.

The Texel Experience in practice

Price: €25 NOW €14,50

Includes: History of the brewery + Tasting + Souvenir

Tickets: Pay online, receive tickets via email

Duration: +/- 50 minutes

Attendance: Please arrive 15 minutes before the start

Pets: Unfortunately not allowed during the experience

Children

The experience is not suitable for individuals under 18 years old. However, if you'd like to bring your child along, the regular price applies. Our neighbor, the Voedselbos Texel, offers entertaining activities for children.
